Banana Bread

Ingredients:-
Ripe Banana 3 nos
Sugar 1/2 cup
Oil 1/2 cup
Maida (All purpose flour) 1/2 cup
Wheat flour 1/2 cup
Green Cardamon Powder 1/2 tsp
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Baking Powder 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp
Cashew nuts 4 tbsp
Raisins 2 tbsp
Icing Sugar for garnish
Method:-
Pre-heat the oven at 180͒ C. Peel the bananas and cut into pieces. Take sliced bananas and sugar in a mixing bowl.
Blend and make a smooth puree using a hand blender. Add vanilla essence and oil and beat for half a minute. Sieve the Maida, wheat flour, baking powder and baking soda. Transfer the mixture to the bowl containing banana puree. Add green cardamon powder. Fold the flour into banana puree well. Add cashew nuts and raisins and fold well. Take a bread tin of desired shape. Grease with oil and dust with maida. Pour the mixture into the baking tin. Bake at 180͒ C for 40~45 minutes. To check if the bread is ready or not, put a toothpick into the bread and pull out. If it comes out clean, the bread is ready. Take out the baking tin from oven and let it cool. Take out the bread from the baking tin and cut into slices. Transfer the slices to a serving tray. Garnish with icing sugar. Banana bread is ready to serve.
