Chatpate Chole rolls

Ingredients:-
White chickpeas (Chole) 2
cups
Boiled rice 1/2
cup
Onions (sliced) 1 ½ cup
Tomatoes (chopped) 1/2
cup
Green chilies (chopped) 2
tsp
Oil 5

Soya sauce 1
tsp
Red chili sauce 1
tsp
Vinegar 1
tsp
Tomato ketchup 6
tbsp
Red chili powder 1
tsp
Garam masala 1
tsp
Coriander powder 1
tsp
Chana Masala 1
tbsp
Chaat Masala 1
tbsp
Dry Mango powder 1
tsp
Salt to
taste
Mayonnaise 4
tbsp
All-purpose flour (Maida) 2
cups
Method:-
Soak the chickpeas overnight. Take
6 cups of water in a pressure cooker. Add soaked chickpeas and 1 tbsp of salt to
it and boil properly.
Take all-purpose flour (Maida), 1
tbsp of salt, 2 tbsp of oil, 1/2 tsp of red chili powder in a bowl and mix.
Add
water and make a smooth dough. Cover it with a wet cloth and let it rest for 30
mins.
Warm 3 tbsp of oil in a non-stick
pan. Add 1 cup of onion and cook till it turns golden brown.
Add tomatoes and
green chilies and cook till tomatoes get soft.
Add salt, garam masala, coriander
powder, chana masala, chaat masala, red chili powder and dry mango powder to it
and mix well.
Add soya sauce, red chili sauce,
vinegar and 2 tbsp of ketch-up. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
Add boiled chick-peas and rice to
the above mixture and mix well.
Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes on a low
flame.
Filling is ready.
Now take the dough and divide it
into small balls.
Roll the balls to make smooth and thin roti.Heat a non-stick pan and cook the roti from both sides.
To arrange the rolls, take a roti
and apply a layer of mayonnaise and another layer of ketchup.
Now add the chick-pea filling.
Now add some sliced onions and roll.
Wrap with a silver foil and butter-paper.
Chatpate Chole roll is ready.
Serve hot with your favorite sauce.
