APPLE DELIGHT SANDWICH


Apple Delight Sandwich

My first Sweet Dish Contribution to the blog. It is a mix of Fruits and natural sweetness. 

Preparation time – 10 min
Cooking time       – 25 min
Serves                    – 2

Ingredients

Bread slices                                      4
Apple                                                 1
Bananas                                            2
Butter                                                3 tbsp
Peanut butter                                  4 tbsp
Mixed fruit jam                               2 tbsp
Sugar                                                 2 tsp
Red chili powder                            a pinch
Green cardamom powder             1/4 tsp
Cinnamon powder                         1/4tsp
Eggs                                                  2 nos
Milk                                                  4tbsp
Salt                                                    ¼ tsp
Ketchup                                    for garnish 
Roasted Peanuts                            for garnish

Method

Cut thin slices of apples and bananas and keep aside.
Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a non-stick pan.
Add apple slices and cook on a medium flame for 5 mins.
Add 1 & 1/2 tsp sugar, cinnamon powder, green cardamon powder and mix. (Ensure that apple slices don’t break).
Cover the lid and cook on a medium flame till the apple slices get soft.

Break the eggs in a bowl. Add milk, red chili powder, salt, and 1/2 tsp of sugar and beat properly.

Heat 1 tbsp of butter in another pan. Dip bread slices in the egg mixture and put in the pan one by one.
Cook properly from the both sides.
Take out bread slices from the pan. Keep it aside and let it cool. 
Apply a layer of peanut butter on the bread. Put the cooked apple slices on the peanut butter. Now add a layer of sliced bananas and put mixed jam on it. Cover it with the second slice of bread.

Place on a serving dish and garnish with apple slice, roasted peanuts and tomato ketchup.
Apple Delight sandwich is ready to serve.
