Sesame Chicken

Sesame chicken




Preparation time – 15 min
Cooking time       – 20 to 25 min

Ingredients

Chicken breast                          2
Capsicum cubes                       1/2 cup
Onions cubes                            1 cup
Garlic chopped                         2 tsp
Ginger chopped                       2 tsp
Olive oil                                     6 tbsp
Green chilies (slit)                   2
Soya sauce                                 2 tsp
Vinegar                                      2tsp
Red chili sauce                         2tsp
Salt                                             to taste
Black pepper                            1/2tsp
Sugar                                         1/2 tsp
Cornflour                                  1 tbsp

White sesame seeds               1 tsp
Fresh coriander spring

Method

Cut chicken breast into small cubes.
Heat oil in a non-stick wok and shallow fry the chicken cubes for 5-7 mins. Take out the chicken pieces from the wok and keep aside.


In the same pan, Add garlic, ginger, green chilies and saute for 2 mins.
Add onions cubes and capsicum cubes and cook for 5-6 mins.  



Add soya sauce, red chili sauce, vinegar and stir. Put the fried chicken cubes into the pan and stir.





Now add salt and black pepper, sugar and cook for 4-5 min on the medium flame.
In a small bowl mix 1 tbsp of cornflour with 4 tbsp of water to make slurry.
Add the slurry into the pan and stir continuously. Cover the lid and cook for 5 mins on the medium flame.


Place the chicken on the serving dish and garnish with some roasted sesame seeds and coriander spring.
Sesame chicken is ready and Serve hot.
