Mutton Masala Dry

Ingredients

Mutton boneless                              250 gm

Onions                                               2 large

Tomatoes                                           2 large

Ginger paste                                     1 tbsp

Garlic                                                 6 cloves

Oil                                                       5 tbsp

Cloves                                                 2

Cumin seeds                                      1 tsp

Coriander seeds                               2 tsp

Garam masala                                   1 tbsp

Turmeric powder                             1/2 tsp

Salt                                                      to taste

Dry red chilies                                  2 nos

Meat masala                                      2 tbsp

Lemon juice                                       2 tsp

For garnishing

Green chilies (slit)

Lemon wedge

Method

Fill 6 cups of water into the pressure cooker and put the mutton pieces, 1 tbsp of salt and turmeric powder. Cover the pressure cooker and boil the mutton till the mutton is cooked properly.

Take out the mutton from the pressure cooker and shred it finely and keep aside.


Cut the onions and tomatoes into slices. Chop the garlic and keep aside.




Heat a non-stick pan. Put coriander seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chilies and clove into the pan and roast.


Make a powder of the roasted ingredients and keep aside.

Heat oil in the pan, add onions and cook till become golden brown.


Add ginger paste, chopped garlic and stir for 2 mins. Add tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes get soft.




Add salt, garam masala, meat masala and saute for 2 mins.


Add shredded mutton into the pan and saute.


Put the grounded powder into the pan and stir. 




Cover the lid and cook on medium flame for 10 mins.

Add lemon juice and stir.

Dry mutton masala is ready.

Transfer the mutton masala into serving bowl, garnish with slit green chilies and lemon wedge.

Serve hot with bread.
